The new Totocalcio, in the renewed version configured by the technicians of the Revenue Agency and Monopoly, will be proposed in an immediately usable form also through the new technological tools.
The good old "schedina" turns 75 this year, but has decided to renew itself so as not to feel the weight of time. Starting from the 2021-2022 Serie A season, in fact, the new version of the Totocalcio will also start, elaborated by a pool of technicians from the Revenue Collection Agency, obviously compatible with today's digital technologies. The new ticket will consist of two panels, the first consisting of 8 mandatory events, the second from a minimum of 7 to a maximum of 12 events defined as optional. The 1X2 mode remains to indicate the victory of the home team, a draw or that of the away team. Different types of games will be possible: 1) Formula three: the player must predict the first two compulsory events in the schedule and an optional event of his choice; only one winning category is foreseen; 2) Formula five: the player must predict the first three mandatory events in the schedule and two optional events of his choice; only one winning category is foreseen; 3) Formula seven: the player must predict the first four mandatory events in the schedule and three optional events of his choice; only one winning category is foreseen; 4) Formula nine: the player must predict the first six mandatory events in the schedule and three optional events of his choice; only one winning category is foreseen; 5) Formula eleven: the player must predict the first seven compulsory events in the schedule and four optional events of his choice; only one winning category is foreseen; 6) Thirteen: the player must predict the eight compulsory events in the schedule and five optional events of his choice; only one winning category is foreseen. If there is not at least one winner in a category, the jackpot mechanism is provided for the same. Lawyer Stefano Sbordoni (general secretary of the Italian Sports Totoricevitori Union), underlined the collaboration of Utis in the development of this project with targeted proposals which were then incorporated in its final draft. "We believe that this can be a great opportunity to relaunch, if all those current issues relating to the use of the web, the ease of use of the product and the low cost of acquiring the necessary tools are taken into account" he said in an interview with Agimeg. Furthermore, according to the lawyer Sbordoni, this new Totocalcio "could be an opportunity for relaunch and development for betting concessionaires, a novelty which, if used well, could increase their productivity".
