This is the figure resulting from the 2019 Budget of the Italian Football Federation
The Italian Football Federation gave the numbers for 2019 and certified that the collection deriving from bets last year was equal to 10.4 billion euros, an increase of almost 5 times compared to 2006. The collection of bets on football covers 73% of the total of sports bets and tax revenues went from 171.7 to 248.5 million euros. It is also highlighted that the turnover generated by eSports worldwide reached the figure of approximately 951 million dollars in 2019, a figure that could grow up to 1.56 billion in 2023, with an increase of 63, 7 percent. Over the same period, the overall worldwide audience from eSports is expected to grow from 443 to 646 million viewers, an increase of 45.8 percent.
